How we make and test our metallic yarn

We work to published execution standards and test under fixed laboratory conditions. The conditions and known limits are listed here so you can plan your own process.

Execution standards

FZ/T 63026-2015

Execution standard for our yarn.

T/ZZB 3490-2023

Zhejiang Made group standard, followed by the JX, CX and SX series.

An execution standard describes how the yarn is made and tested. It is not a third-party certification.

Laboratory test conditions

These are laboratory conditions, not a guarantee of performance in every production process. Test your own process before bulk production.

Use limits

  • Aluminium film is not alkali-resistant.
  • Silver film is not acid-resistant.
  • Silver darkens with sulphides.
  • Stretching and heavy rubbing can peel the metal layer.
  • Test before production.
