How to choose a series

Start from the end use listed for each series.

  1. Flat metallic yarn (M): lace, ribbon, trademark, embroidery, carpet, kitchen textiles, socks and scarves.
  2. Single-covered metallic yarn (MH, AK): plain weaving, knitted fabrics, woolen sweaters, scarves, socks, headwear, Christmas crafts, underwear and hosiery.
  3. Double-covered metallic yarn (MX, JX, CX, SX): trademark, ribbon, warp knitting, yarn-dyed, jacquard, embroidery, Christmas, plain fabrics, knitted fabrics, woolen sweaters, scarves, socks and headwear.
  4. Metallic embroidery thread (MS): embroidery and ribbon.

JX is a finer, softer double-covered yarn than MX, with the same count range.

If your end use is not listed, email sales@jxmetallic.com with the fabric and count you have in mind. We will confirm which series fits.
